Syria is not the first exotic location to come to mind when you think of lingerie but in fact the country has some very specific traditions when it comes to undergarments. Typically when a young woman marries she has a dowry of at least 30 pieces of the most fanciful, frivolous, frilly, and furry underwear money can buy.
